Most asthma deaths are preventable
This site helps people to recognise and act on asthma symptoms of cough, wheeze, difficulty breathing and shortness of breath to prevent attacks
Ive been a family doctor for over 40 years with a strong interest in the care of people with asthma and now am freelancing part time. I have published research papers, and co-authored 6 books on asthma . I was the Clinical Lead for the UK National Review on Asthma Deaths (NRAD).
Following the NRAD I have decided to devote much of the rest of my career to educating health professionals and people with asthma. My hope is that we can eradicate asthma attacks, and therefore preventable asthma deaths.
